  • Thank you to all who came to this past weekend’s Marriage Conference. I was encouraged by the participation and greatly encouraged by Ty Blackburn’s messages on Friday, Saturday, and on Sunday morning. I thank God for answering our prayers for this conference. You can watch or listen to Ty’s messages by going to the HLPC SermonAudio page that is accessible via our web site. Click on the “Media” tab at www.houstonlakepres.org. For you Alexa users, there is information on the SermonAudio page on how to enable SermonAudio as a “skill” and listen easily to HLPC sermons!
  • Our new playground is taking shape! Unfortunately, the area around it is a mud pit! We’ll need to keep kids off of it for a brief while longer while we get things in better shape. Thank you for your help and patience- it won’t be much longer! We are still accepting donations for the new playground that will enable us to go to “Phase 2” of our design.
  • I’m very excited about our new sound equipment, in particular the new sound board that’s being put to use in in the sound booth. Our audio team is diligently learning how to make the best use of it. We hope you can tell a difference in the quality of sound during worship and other events.
