Dear HLPC family,
Once again, the musicians and vocalists of our church did an outstanding job this past Sunday evening presenting a night of music. We, as a church, need to be thankful for the abundance of talent we have here that is used for God’s glory.
Thank you to our own Elizabeth Weiss who planned it, and to all who sang, played, or supported in any way the marvelous evening. Thank you as well to all who brought snacks to share for our time of fellowship that followed.
A week from this Saturday, Lord willing, we will gather at 5:30PM for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight service. It’s become one of the highlights of the year for our church family. I so look forward to it. Please invite friends and family to join us!
The next day, we will then gather for worship on the Lord’s Day at 10:30AM. We will keep things on the relatively simple side, and you’re encouraged to come as you are. I remain amazed whenever I hear of a church cancelling services on Christmas Day. Why? The Lord’s Day is a difficult day to gather and to remember the birth of the Savior!? Come join with your church family to sing and worship Christ our King!
Your Pastor,
Paul
