Dear HLPC family,
A few notes to make this morning:
· Right now is a great time to jump into School of Discipleship! The adult class has just started a new series on the Parables of Jesus. Coffee and donuts are available at 9:15AM!
· Much thanks to all who helped make our Reformation Celebration a great evening of fellowship and fun this past Sunday. Many contributed candy, helped prepare and serve the meal, and provided games for the kids. As always, it was great to see our youth jumping in to serve. Special thanks go to Cathy Alvord who planned the event.
· Keep Sunday, November 23rd on your calendars for our joint PCA Thanksgiving service to be held at Perry Presbyterian at 6PM. The Rev. Daniel Stanphill, Perry Pres’s new pastor, will be preaching. As always, there will be fellowship afterwards.
· Todd Kinnebrew and I would appreciate your prayers for our trip to the United Kingdom this coming week. We travel this Friday for a United Kingdom Partnership gathering that will take place in 3 different cities: London, Leeds, and Edinburgh. We are scheduled to return next Saturday. We will join a number of representatives from PCA churches here in the US to see what God is doing in planting churches there and to discover how our partnership with them can go beyond just financial support. I look forward to sharing with you what we learn and we look forward to reconnecting with Will Allan and Dan Terry, two church planters in the UK HLPC supports.
