Dear HLPC family,
For some time we have asked a committee in our church made up of men and women with interest and expertise to look at potential improvements or even possible additions to our facility. A number of things have been investigated and discussed. They have done and continue to do faithful work.
To help us in possible future planning the Elders and Deacons of HLPC voted to engage the services of the Canaan Group. This organization assists churches and organizations in a wide range of ways. We have asked them to come in and assist us by conducting a feasibility study. This study will give us important information as a church so that we can make the best decision on if and how we should move forward with any plans for the future of our facilities.
The Canaan Group leadership is comprised of people who largely attend PCA churches. They have served many churches in our denomination as well as assisted such ministries as Covenant College and Reformed Theological Seminary. They come to us affirming a desire to honor the Lord in their work.
You’ll be hearing more about this group and how they will serve us in the days ahead. Please be praying for us as we prayerfully consider what the Lord would have us do here at HLPC to further enhance our ability to reach out with the gospel and to make disciples.
