Dear HLPC family,
A number of you will remember Franz and Kelliann Van Stagl. They were an Air Force family that were a part of our church family during Franz’s assignment at Robins Air Force Base. Upon separation from the Air Force, they moved back to where they were from and Franz became a student a Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, Indiana where he has been pursuing a Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) degree. One of the degree requirements Franz has is to fulfill a ministerial apprentice program.
I am excited to tell you that HLPC will be the place for Franz to fulfill that requirement as he serves with us this summer. He and Kelliann and their three children will join with us for 10 weeks beginning June 1. Franz will get opportunities to lead in worship, to teach, to preach, and to be exposed to a wide range of church ministry. In addition, he will be ministering to the young adults/young couples in our church. I’m so glad we are able to have the Van Stagls with us this summer. I think they will be a great blessing to us and we to them!
One more thing- I hope you’re planning to come tonight at 5:30PM to the spaghetti dinner and dessert auction fundraiser for youth summer activities. Donations and tips gratefully accepted. It’s always a great time of fellowship and fun for our church family!
